RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
At Hair Habit, we are committed to providing premium-quality hair products and exceptional customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer returns and exchanges on eligible products in accordance with the policy below.
Returns & Exchanges
Eligible products may be returned or exchanged within 7 calendar days of delivery.
To qualify for a return or exchange, products must:
- Be unused, unworn, and unaltered
- Remain in their original packaging
- Have all original tags, ties, and packaging intact
- Have the original Hair Habit security seal/tamper-evident tie attached and undisturbed
- Show no signs of installation, washing, coloring, bleaching, cutting, styling, chemical processing, or any other alteration
For health, hygiene, and quality assurance reasons, any product with a removed, broken, altered, or missing security seal/tamper-evident tie is not eligible for a return, exchange, or refund.
All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective product or an error made by Hair Habit.
Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:
- Wigs
- Lace closures
- Clearance items
- Sale or discounted items
- Customized or special-order products
- Any product that has been worn, installed, washed, colored, bleached, cut, chemically processed, styled, or otherwise altered
- Any product with a removed, broken, altered, or missing security seal/tamper-evident tie
Any item returned that does not meet the requirements of this policy will be refused and returned to the customer.
Order Processing & Cancellations
Orders begin processing immediately after they are placed. Therefore, order modifications, shipping changes, address changes, or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted.
In the rare event that a cancellation is approved before shipment, a 25% cancellation/restocking fee may apply.
Shipping Address Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at the time of checkout.
Hair Habit is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Once an order has been submitted, address changes cannot be guaranteed due to our order processing procedures.
If an order is returned to Hair Habit because of an incorrect or undeliverable address, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to reship the order.
Please review your shipping information carefully before completing your purchase.
Defective or Incorrect Items
We take great pride in the quality of our products. If you believe you have received a defective item or an incorrect order, please contact us at HairHabitSales@gmail.com within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Customers may be required to provide photographs and return the product for inspection before a claim can be processed.
If Hair Habit determines that the product is defective or that an error occurred during order fulfillment, we will:
- Replace the item or provide an exchange at no additional cost
- Cover the shipping costs associated with the replacement or exchange
Please note that products that have been installed, washed, colored, bleached, cut, chemically processed, styled, or otherwise altered are not eligible for replacement under this policy.
We recommend using a shipping service that includes tracking information when returning products. Hair Habit is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Refund Processing
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, less any applicable restocking fees.
Please allow 5–10 business days for refund processing after the returned item has been received and approved.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Return Authorization
To initiate a return or exchange, customers must contact Hair Habit at HairHabitSales@gmail.com within the required 7-day return period to receive return instructions.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused.
Policy Rights
Hair Habit reserves the right to refuse any return, exchange, or refund request that does not comply with the terms outlined in this policy.
Hair Habit also reserves the right to update, modify, or amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
